When I was 10 years old, I remember being in the kitchen listening to Patrice Rushen's LOOK UP AND ENJOY! Who remembers that!!!! I remember thinking....That's it....I got to look up and think positive thoughts. I need to speak it and feel it! I remember thinking, I am going to think in positive way!
This was huge for me at 10 years old because I've been thinking that way ever since. In high school, when everybody was running around like some freak-o-zoid teenage maniacs...I was at the cafeteria table with my notebook writing over and over and over again...I LOVE MYSELF...I LOVE MYSELF...I would fill up pages of this type of affirmations......I had affirmation posters that I made all in my room all over my walls!I am so happy for the living power of affirmations! And I am so happy for Patrice Rushen's song LOOK UP!I am going to continue to LOOK UP & ENJOY!!!!! Yeah!!!
